Union Minister Piyush Goyal on Friday proposed to increase the gratuity limit to Rs. 30 lakh. पिछले साल सितंबर के महीने में दिल्ली में मैंने एक पर्चा पढ़ा था. व्हाट्सएप यूनिवर्सिटी और फेसबुक पर गांधी की हत्या को जायज़ ठहारने के लिए ऐसी कविताएं और रचनाएं लिखी गईं हैं जो पाठकों में हत्या को लेकर गौरव का भाव भरना चाहती हैं. इसी पर पर्चा था. मैंने उसमें बताया था कि ये सारी रचनाएं टूटे फूटे वाक्य विन्यासों से नहीं बनी हैं बल्कि विचारधारा से लैस, किसी तीव्र दिमाग वाले रचनाकारों की सधी हुई भाषा से निकली हैं. उन्हें पढ़ते हुए मैं ठिठक गया कि इनके रचनाकार कौन हैं, जो पाठक हैं उन पर क्या असर होता होगा. एक तरफ गांधी के नाम पर स्वच्छता का अभियान चल रहा है दूसरी तरफ इन कविताओं में गांधी को ही साफ किया जा रहा है. लाख कोशिशों के बाद भी न तो इन कविताओं के रचनाकार का पता लगा सका था और न ही इसका पाठ करने वाले लोगों का. मगर 30 जनवरी को दोनों ही अपने आप सामने आ गए. अलीगढ़ से आई इस रिकार्डिंग को आप देखिए. देखिए इसलिए कि आपने गांधी को मारते नहीं देखा. अब आप देख सकते हैं कि गांधी को मारने की वो विचारधारा क्या थी, उनके हत्यारे कैसे दिखते थे, क्या पहनते थे, क्या बोलते थे, वो सब आप इस वीडियो में फिर से देख सकते हैं.

Unemployment Rate Highest In 45 Years, Reveals Stalled Report

The country's unemployment rate was at a 45-year-high of 6.1 per cent in 2017-18, according to the National Sample Survey Office's (NSSO's) periodic labour force survey (PLFS), which has been accessed by the Business Standard newspaper. The report was not released despite being vetted by the National Statistical Commission in December, allege two non-independent members who quit the data collating body on Tuesday. The report, revealed just a day before the government's interim Budget, sets up a huge controversy just before the national election, due by May, with the opposition targeting the government on jobs data.

आईसीआईसीआई बैंक की पूर्व सीईओ चंदा कोचर की मुसीबत बढ़ गई है. बैंक के बोर्ड ऑफ डायरेक्टर्स ने फ़ैसला किया है कि चंदा कोचर के बैंक से अलग होने को 'Termination for Cause' माना जाएगा यानी किसी वजह से नौकरी से निकाला जाना. इसका सीधा मतलब ये है कि उन्हें नौकरी से निकाला गया माना जाएगा. इसके बाद उन्हें मौजूदा और भविष्य में मिलने वाले सभी फ़ायदे बंद कर दिए जाएंगे चाहे वो बोनस हों, इनक्रीमेंट हों, स्टॉक ऑप्शन हों या मेडिकल बेनेफिट. यही नहीं, अप्रैल 2009 से मार्च 2018 तक जो भी बोनस उन्हें दिए गए उन्हें वापस वसूला जाएगा. चंदा कोचर के मामले से जुड़ी जांच रिपोर्ट में कहा गया है कि उन्होंने बैंक को दिए गए सालाना घोषणाएं यानी annual disclosures को बताने में ईमानदारी नहीं बरती. जो कि बैंक की अंदरूनी पॉलिसी, कोड ऑफ़ कंडक्ट और भारत के क़ानून के तहत ज़रूरी है.

उच्चतम न्यायालय ने कांग्रेस के वरिष्ठ नेता पी चिदंबरम के बेटे कार्ति चिदंबरम को न्यायालय की रजिस्ट्री में 10 करोड़ रुपए जमा कराने की शर्त पर विदेश जाने की बुधवार को अनुमति प्रदान की. साथ ही न्यायालय ने उन्हें ‘कानून के साथ खिलवाड़ नहीं करने’ की चेतावनी देते हुये आईएनएक्स और एयरसेल मैक्सिस मामलों की जांच में सहयोग करने की हिदायत दी. शीर्ष अदालत ने कार्ति से आईएनएक्स मीडिया और एयरसेल मैक्सिस मामलों में पूछताछ के लिए पांच, छह, सात और 12 मार्च को प्रवर्तन निदेशालय के समक्ष पेश होने का निर्देश दिया. प्रधान न्यायाधीश रंजन गोगोई के नेतृत्व वाली पीठ ने कहा, ‘आपको 10 से 26 फरवरी के बीच जहां जाना हो वहां जाएं, लेकिन पूछताछ में सहयोग जरूर करें.’

हमारे देश में शिक्षा की हालत खराब है मगर शिक्षा पर चर्चा नहीं है. दसवीं और बारहवीं के इम्तहान शुरू होने वाले हैं तो परीक्षा पर चर्चा है. प्रधानमंत्री ने बोर्ड के इम्तहान देने जा रहे छात्रों से परीक्षा पर चर्चा की. हमें समझना चाहिए कि बोर्ड की परीक्षा का तनाव क्यों है. उसकी वजहें क्या हैं. क्यों 96 से 99 प्रतिशत नंबर लाने की होड़ मची है. प्रधानमंत्री ने परीक्षा पर चर्चा के तहत असफल होने पर तनाव लेने से मना किया. मां बाप से कहा कि असफलता पर तंज न कसें और सफलता के लिए दबाव न डालें. संभावनाएं तलाशें मगर उन पर अपने सपने न थोपें. ये सारी अच्छी बातें हैं मगर शिक्षा और परीक्षा की हालत के हिसाब से देखेंगे तो इन बातों का बहुत मतलब नहीं रह जाता है. मैं क्यों कह रहा हूं कि सिर्फ बोर्ड की परीक्षा पर फोकस अच्छा होते हुए भी बहुत अच्छा नहीं था. उसका कारण है कि प्रथम की रिपोर्ट. सरकारी स्कूलों के बच्चे 8वीं पहुंच कर भी पांचवीं की किताब नहीं पढ़ पाते हैं. यह कमीं मां बाप की अपेक्षा से नहीं आई है. बल्कि सिस्टम की खराबी से आई है. क्या प्रधानमंत्री ने उन सरकारी बच्चों से कुछ कहा है. या सीबीएसई के प्राइवेट स्कूलों के बच्चों से संबोधन कर एक खास तबके को अच्छा संदेश भर दिया है.

लोकसभा चुनाव से पहले अयोध्या मुद्दे पर अब मोदी सरकार भी कोर्ट पहुंच गई है. केंद्र सरकार की ओर से दाखिल की गई अर्जी में मांग की गई है कि 67 एकड़ जमीन का सरकार ने अधिग्रहण किया था जिसपर सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने यथास्थिति बरकरार रखने का आदेश दिया था. जमीन का विवाद सिर्फ 2.77 एक़ड़ का है बल्कि बाकी जमीन पर कोई विवाद नहीं है. इसलिए उस पर यथास्थिति बरकरार रखने की जरूरत नहीं है. सरकार चाहती है जमीन का बाकी हिस्सा राम जन्मभूमि न्यास को दिया जाए और सुप्रीम कोर्ट इसकी इज़ाजत दे. गौरतलब है कि अयोध्या मामले की नई संवैधानिक 5 सदस्यीय संवैधानिक पीठ सुनवाई कर रही है.

दो अलग अलग जगहों पर हुए बस हादसे, 2 की मौत

ओडिशा के कालाहांडी के भवानीपटना में एक बस पलटने से 2 लोगों की मौत हो गई. इस हादसे में 37 लोग घायल हो गए, जिनमें 17 की हालत गंभीर बनी हुई है. हादसे के वक्त बस में करीब 50 लोग थे. बताया जा रहा है कि तेज रफ्तार की वजह से ड्राइवर ने संतुलन खो दिया और बस पलट गई.

2008 के असम में हुए बम ब्लास्ट में बड़ा फैसला, 15 दोषी करार

2008 में असम में हुए सिलसिलेवार बम विस्फोटों के मामले में सीबीआई की विशेष अदालत ने फैसला सुनाया है. कोर्ट ने नेशनल डेमोक्रेटिक फ्रंट ऑफ बोडोलैंड (एनडीएफबी) के प्रमुख रंजन दैमारी और 14 अन्य को सोमवार को दोषी ठहराया. इन विस्फोटों में 88 लोग मारे गए थे. सीबीआई की विशेष अदालत के न्यायाधीश अपरेश चक्रवर्ती ने दैमारी और 14 अन्य को आईपीसी की विभिन्न धाराओं में दोषी करार दिया. दोषियों को सजा बुधवार को सुनाई जाएगी.

A day after the CBI filed a case against former MD and CEO of ICICI Bank, Chanda Kochhar, along with her husband Deepak Kochhar and Videocon Group's VN Dhoot for alleged cheating and conspiracy, the officer investigating the case has been shunted out. SP Sudhanshu Dhar Mishra, who had signed the Chanda Kochhar FIR on January 22, was transferred to Ranchi the very next day. Two days later, Union Minister Arun Jaitley wrote a blog against that CBI FIR calling it "investigative adventurism" and a "journey to nowhere" after the CBI said the roles of other big names in the banking industry also needs to be investigated beyond the three prime accused. CBI sources said the officer was being probed for delays in the investigation and after suspected information leaks.
