Petrol and diesel prices are now Rs 115.15 and Rs 106.23 in Mumbai, Rs 109.79 and Rs 101.19 in Kolkata and Rs 106.04 and Rs 102.25 in Chennai, respectively.

Petrol and diesel prices witnessed a hike for the fifth consecutive day across the country on Sunday. With a hike of Rs 0.35, the price of petrol in the national capital increased to Rs 107.59 per litre. Fuel Prices Reach All-Time Highs, Petrol Nears Rs 107 Per Litre In Delhi

The state-owned oil marketing companies on Friday increased fuel prices for the third consecutive day. With the latest revision, petrol and diesel in Delhi have become costlier by 35 paise taking them to new all-time highs. Customers in the national capital now will have to pay Rs 106.89 a litre for petrol and Rs 95.62 a litre for diesel. In the financial capital Mumbai, petrol is inching towards the Rs 113-mark, currently priced at Rs 112.78 a litre while diesel retails at Rs 103.63 a litre. Fuel rates vary across the states due to value-added tax (VAT).

Fuel Prices Hiked Again After A Hiatus Of 2 Days; Petrol Breaches Rs 106/Litre Mark In Delhi

Domestic fuel rates have jumped to new fresh all-time highs across the country. After a hiatus of two days, the state-run oil marketing companies have hiked petrol and diesel prices by 35 paise each in the national capital as per details listed on the Indian Oil's official website. Petrol prices in Delhi breached the Rs 106/litre mark, currently retailing at Rs 106.19 a litre. Diesel, on the other hand, too jumped from Rs 94.57 per litre to Rs 94.92 per litre after witnessing a steep hike of 35 paise. Fuel rates vary across the states due to value-added tax (VAT).
