The Reserve Bank of India governor should work in sync with the central government to support economic growth or he should resign, said the head of the economic wing of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, which is the ideological mentor of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's ruling party, the BJP. Man Kills Two Salespersons In Varanasi's JHV Mall After Being Denied Discount

After reportedly being denied discount, a man shot dead two persons at a mall in Varanasi on Wednesday evening. Two persons were also injured in the incident which happened at the JHV Mall. India Jumps 23 Spots In 'Ease Of Doing Business' Index, Ranks 77

India has shot up by 23 spots to reach the 77th position among 190 nations in World Bank's Ease of Doing Business ranking. The advance - the second big jump in a row - marks a huge step forward in Narendra Modi government's efforts to ease processes, project a business-friendly environment, and draw in foreign investment. Last year, India progressed 30 positions to reach the top 100. When the NDA came to power in 2014, India stood 142nd in World Bank's "Doing Business" list.

दिल्ली हाईकोर्ट ने उत्तर प्रदेश के पीएसी के 16 जवानों को उम्र कैद की सुनाई. इनको यह सजा 1987 को मेरठ के हाशिमपुरा में 42 मुस्लिम युवकों के अपहरण, हत्या, साक्ष्यों को मिटाने का दोषी मानते हुए सुनाई गई. 2015 में तीस हजारी कोर्ट ने इन्हें बरी कर दिया गया था. उसके बाद मामला हाईकोर्ट पहुंचा, इसी बीच तीन आरोपियों की मौत हो गई. अब हाईकोर्ट ने बाकी बचे 16 दोषियों को उम्र कैद की सजा सुनाई.

Sixteen former police personnel have been sentenced to life for killing 42 people of a minority community in Uttar Pradesh in 1987. The Delhi High Court called the Hashimpura massacre in Meerut as "targeted killing" of unarmed and defenceless persons and overturned the trial court's verdict which had acquitted the accused.The high court convicted the 16 former Provincial Armed Constabulary (PAC) personnel for murder, kidnapping, criminal conspiracy and destruction of evidence. All of them have to surrender on or before November 22.

Rupee Again Breaches 74-Mark Against Dollar

The rupee dropped by 43 paise to 74.11 against the US dollar in early trade Wednesday, amid increased demand of the American currencies from importers and sustained foreign fund outflows, reported news agency Press Trust of India. Forex traders said, the US dollar's strength against some currencies overseas and concerns around the rift between the government and the RBI also weighed on the local unit. At the interbank foreign exchange, after opening lower at 73.91, rupee weakened further to quote at 74.11 against the dollar registering a fall of 43 paise over its previous close.

साल 2008 के मालेगांव बम धमाकों में एनआईए की विशेष अदालत ने मंगलवार को लेफ्टिनेंट कर्नल प्रसाद पुरोहित, साध्वी प्रज्ञा सिंह ठाकुर समेत सभी 7 आरोपियों के खिलाफ आरोप तय कर दिये. 29 सितंबर 2008 को हुए धमाके में 6 की जान गई थी और 100 से अधिक लोग जख्मी हुए थे. बम धमाके को 10 साल हो गए लेकिन अब तक आरोप तय नही हो पाया था. आपको बता दें कि 29 सितंबर 2008 को महाराष्ट्र के मालेगांव में बम धमाके हुए थे. इसमें 6 लोगों की मौत हो गई थी और 100 से अधिक लोग घायल हो गए थे. इस मामले में एटीएस ने 21 जनवरी 2009 को पहला आरोप पत्र दायर किया.

दिल्ली में प्रदूषण का स्तर लगातार बढ़ता जा रहा है. आज देश की 10 सबसे प्रदूषित जगहों में से 7 दिल्ली की हैं, जबकि 9 जगह दिल्ली-एनसीआर की हैं. वहीं दिल्ली की 7 में से 6 जगहों पर प्रदूषण का स्तर ख़तरनाक है... सबसे ज़्यादा प्रदूषित जगह दिल्ली का पंजाबी बाग इलाका है... दिल्ली की पॉल्यूशन कंट्रोल बोर्ड ने बताया है कि अलग अलग सरकारी विभाग प्रदूषण को कम करने के लिए ठोस काम नहीं कर रहे हैं... ऐसे में केंद्रीय पर्यावरण मंत्री हर्षवर्धन ने कहा है कि जो सरकारी एजेंसियां ढंग से काम नहीं करेंगी उनके ख़िलाफ़ केस दर्ज किया जाएगा...

पुणे पुलिस ने वामपंथी विचारक सुधा भारद्वाज गिरफ्तार

पुणे पुलिस ने भीमा कोरेगांव में हुई हिंसा और माओवादियों से कथित संबंधों ते आरोप में एक्टिविस्ट सुधा भारद्वाज को फरीदाबाद से गिरफ्तार कर लिया है. दूसरी तरफ दो अन्य एक्टिविस्ट वर्नोन गोंसाल्विस और अरुण फेरेरा को भी 6 नवंबर तक के लिए हिरासत में भेज दिया गया है. पुणे की एक अदालत ने शुक्रवार को सुधा भारद्वाज, वर्नोन गोंसाल्विस और अरुण फेरेरा की जमानत याचिका खारिज कर दी थी. कथित माओवादियों से संबधों की वजह से इन्हें गिरफ्तार किया गया था.

दिल्ली : स्कूल में छात्र ने टीचर को सिर पर रॉड मारकर किया घायल

साउथ दिल्ली के साकेत इलाके में एक सरकारी स्कूल से दर्दनाक खबर सामने आई है. यहां 8वीं क्लास के छात्र ने क्लास रूम के अंदर ही अपने ही टीचर को लोहे की रॉड मारकर घायल कर दिया. दरअसल, ये छात्र अपने स्कूल बैग में केवल एक कॉपी और एक लोहे की रॉड लेकर आया था. टीचर ने जब उसके बैग की तलाशी ली और लोहे की रॉड देख उसे अपने कब्जे में लेने लगा और इस बात की जानकारी बच्चे के परिजनों को देने लगा, तभी छात्र ने उसे रॉड से मारकर बुरी तरह घायल कर दिया.
