From accusations of hate speech, to phone records that claim to prove extortion - fresh details of the escalating scandal within the CBI have emerged. First more damning details about the acting CBI chief Nageswar Rao - the CPM has objected to his being made acting chief; they say, because when Mr Rao was posted in Odisha 20 years ago, he made a virulent speech targeting minorities.
