बंजर जमीन वाले किसानों को सौर बिजली इकाइयां लगाने में दी जाएगी मदद: निर्मला सीतारमण

आम बजट 2020-21 पेश करते हुए वित्त मंत्री निर्मला सीतारमण ने कहा कि जिन किसानों के पास बंजर जमीन है, उस पर उन्हें सौर बिजली इकाइयां लगाने और अधिशेष बिजली सौर ग्रिड को बेचने में मदद की जाएगी. इसके साथ ही कृषि भूमि पट्टा आदर्श अधिनियम-2016, कृषि उपज और पशुधन मंडी आदर्श अधिनियम -2017, कृषि उपज एवं पशुधन अनुबंध खेती, सेवाएं संवर्धन एवं सुगमीकरण आदर्श अधिनियम-2018 लागू करने वाले राज्यों को प्रोत्साहित किया जाएगा.

देश में ऐतिहासिक सुधार रहा है GST: निर्मला सीतारमण

माल एवं सेवा कर (GST) के रिटर्न का सरल स्वरूप अप्रैल 2020 से पेश किया जाएगा. वित्त मंत्री निर्मला सीतारमण ने शनिवार को इसकी जानकारी दी. उन्होंने लोकसभा में अपने कार्यकाल का दूसरा बजट पेश करते हुए कहा कि जीएसटी ने इंस्पेक्टर राज को खत्म किया है और लॉजिस्टिक्स क्षेत्र को मदद पहुंचायी है. उन्होंने कहा कि इससे उपभोक्ताओं को एक लाख करोड़ रुपये की बचत हो रही है. उन्होंने कहा, ‘जीएसटी के क्रियान्वयन के बाद हर परिवार को मासिक व्यय में चार प्रतिशत की बचत हो रही है.’ उन्होंने कहा कि पिछले दो साल में जीएसटी में दो लाख नए करदाता जुड़े हैं. इसके तहत 40 करोड़ रिटर्न दाखिल किए गए हैं तथा 105 करोड़ ई-वे बिल सृजित हुए हैं.

माल एवं सेवा कर (GST) के रिटर्न का सरल स्वरूप अप्रैल 2020 से पेश किया जाएगा. वित्त मंत्री निर्मला सीतारमण ने शनिवार को इसकी जानकारी दी. इसके साथ ही उन्होंने बजट पेश करने से पहले पूर्व वित्त मंत्री व GST के ‘शिल्पकार’ अरुण जेटली को श्रद्धांजलि दी. GST प्रणाली एक जुलाई 2017 से लागू हुई है. इस बार जनवरी में GST के तहत 1.1 लाख करोड़ रुपये से अधिक का राजस्व संग्रह हुआ. यह लगातार तीसरा महीना है जब GST से एक लाख करोड़ रुपये से अधिक का राजस्व प्राप्त हुआ है.

उत्तर प्रदेश के फर्रुखाबाद में जिस युवक ने 23 बच्चों को गुरुवार को बंधक बना लिया था, उसकी पत्नी को स्थानीय लोगों ने पीट पीटकर मार डाला. आरोपी युवक को पुलिस ने 11 घंटे ऑपरेशन चलाकर मार डाला था. इसके बाद सभी 23 बच्चों को पुलिस ने सुरक्षित बचा लिया. बता दें, आरोपी शख्स की पहचान सुभाष बाथम के रूप में हुई थी. पूरा मामला फर्रुखाबाद जिले के मोहम्मदाबाद थाना क्षेत्र के एक गांव का है. सुभाष ने गुरुवार को अपने बच्चे के जन्मदिन के बहाने आस-पास के बच्चों को घर में बुलाया और फिर अपनी बीवी और बच्चे समेत सभी बच्चों को बेसमेंट में बंद कर दिया था.

बिजनौर हिंसा मामले में 83 में से 48 आरोपियों को मिली जमानत

पिछले साल 20 दिसंबर को उत्तर प्रदेश के कई जिलों में CAA का प्रदर्शन हिंसक हो गया. बिजनौर के नगीना में भी हिंसा हुई. इसमें दो लोगों की मौत हो गई थी. पुलिस ने इस मामले में कई लोगों के खिलाफ केस दर्ज कर गिरफ्तार किया था. बीते बुधवार अदालत ने इस मामले में गिरफ्तार किए गए 83 लोगों में से 48 को सबूतों के अभाव में जमानत दे दी. सुनवाई के दौरान अदालत ने कहा कि पुलिस इस मामले में आरोपियों के खिलाफ सबूत पेश कर पाने में नाकाम रही.

"No Proof": UP Police Face Questions As 48 CAA Protesters Get Bail

A court in west Uttar Pradesh's Bijnor has granted bail to 48 people accused by the state police of rioting and attempted murder during last month's violent protests over the Citizenship (Amendment) Act or CAA. Bijnor, 161 km from Delhi, was one of the UP districts that saw large-scale violence. Two people were killed during the protests there on December 20 last year, and the cops have admitted that one of those who died took a police bullet. Abortions To Be Allowed At 24 Weeks, Government Approves Changes To Law

The government has extended the upper limit for permitting abortions to 24 weeks, from the current 20 weeks, Union Minister Prakash Javadekar told reporters at a Cabinet briefing today, highlighting the increase as a "progressive reform (that) gives women reproductive rights over their bodies". Starred hotels and bars in Uttar Pradesh will be allowed to serve liquor till early morning - a decision that the government say will help mop up additional revenue. The new policy is expected to be implemented in the next financial year that begins in April. CAA के खिलाफ प्रदर्शन के दौरान भड़काउ भाषण देने के आरोपी JNU छात्र शरजील इमाम के खिलाफ कई राज्यों में देशद्रोह का मामला दर्ज होने के बाद उसकी गिरफ्तारी के लिये मुंबई, पटना और दिल्ली में छापेमारी की जा रही है. पुलिस वरिष्ठ अधिकारियों ने यह जानकारी सोमवार को दी. पुलिस अधिकारी के अनुसार इमाम की तलाश में अपराध शाखा के पांच दल लगाए गए हैं. जवाहरलाल नेहरू विश्वविद्यालय के इतिहास अध्ययन केंद्र के पीएचडी छात्र इमाम को जेएनयू के चीफ प्रॉक्टर ने भी तलब किया है.

CAA के विरोध को लेकर दिल्ली का शाहीन बाग खासा सुर्खियों में है. यहां बच्चों से लेकर 90 साल की महिलाएं भी धरना प्रदर्शन कर रही हैं. महिलाओं का कहना है कि जब तक केंद्र सरकार इस कानून को वापस नहीं लेती, उनका धरना खत्म नहीं होगा. विपक्षी दल भी इस कानून के खिलाफ मोदी सरकार पर हमलावर हैं. कांग्रेस समेत अधिकतर राजनीतिक दल इस संशोधित कानून को संविधान के खिलाफ बता रहे हैं. कांग्रेस सांसद शशि थरूर रविवार को जयपुर में थे. यहां 'जयपुर लिटरेचर फेस्टिवल' में उन्होंने अपनी स्पीच में एक बार फिर CAA का जिक्र किया. उन्होंने कहा कि अगर CAA के बाद NRC लागू हो जाता है तो पाकिस्तान के संस्थापक मोहम्मद अली जिन्ना जीत जाएंगे.

एयर इंडिया में 100 प्रतिशत हिस्सेदारी बेचने का सरकार ने लिया फैसला

केंद्र सरकार ने एयर इंडिया के 100 फीसदी शेयर बेचने का फैसला किया है. इसको लेकर प्राथमिक जानकारी भी साझा कर दी गई है. सरकार की ओर से जारी दस्तावेज के मुताबिक 'रणनीतिक विनिवेश' के तहत एयर इंडिया, एयर इंडिया एक्सप्रेस के भी 100 फीसदी और AISATS के 50 फीसदी शेयर बेचेगी. इसके अलावा प्रबंधन नियंत्रण का अधिकार भी सफल बोली लगाने वाले के हाथ चला जाएगा. सरकार ने इस विनिवेश में बोली प्रक्रिया का इस्तेमाल करेगी और इसमें शामिल होने के लिए 17 मार्च का समय तक का समय रखा गया है.

In a revised push to sell the national carrier, the government on Monday announced plans to sell its entire stake in Air India. The development comes after an initial attempt to sell a majority stake in the airline failed to draw a single bid in 2018. The airline is sitting on a debt pile of around Rs 58,000 crore, besides huge accumulated losses running into thousands of crores. Currently, the Government of India holds a 100 per cent stake in the airline, and its subsidiary Air India Express.

"Wild Mumbai": After Karnataka, Maharashtra Works On Wildlife Documentary

After the release of Wild Karnataka last week, a documentary film based on the forests of Karnataka presented by the state forest department, the Maharashtra government has decided to sanction a similar project to showcase the biodiversity of places like Aarey Colony, Sanjay Gandhi National Park and the Sewri Mudflats in its state. भीमा-कोरेगांव मामले की जांच को लेकर विपक्ष के निशाने पर केंद्र सरकार

भीमा-कोरेगांव केस को आज अचानक केंद्र सरकार ने एनआईए को सौंप दिया. एक दिन पहले ही महाराष्ट्र सरकार ने साल 2018 में हुए भीमा-कोरेगांव हिंसा की समीक्षा का फैसला लिया था. केंद्र के इस फैसले की महाराष्ट्र सरकार ने निंदा की. इस फैसले पर राष्ट्रवादी कांग्रेस पार्टी के नेता शरद पवार ने एतराज जताया. वहीं राज्य गृह मंत्री अनिल देशमुख ने कहा कि इस बारे में राज्य सरकार से पूछा तक नहीं गया. उन्होंने ट्वीट किया कि जब राज्य सरकार इस मामले की तह में जा रही थी, तब ये फ़ैसला किया गया. एक दिन पहले महाराष्ट्र के गृह मंत्री और एनसीपी नेता अनिल देशमुख ने इसे लेकर गुरुवार को मीटिंग रखी थी. गृह मंत्री ने इस बारे में कहा था कि वह पुलिस को मिले सबूतों के आधार पर उनके द्वारा इस मामले की जानकारी मिलने के बाद ही इसकी समीक्षा करेंगे और किसी नतीजे तक पहुंचेंगे.

CAA के खिलाफ केरल में 620 किमी लंबी मानव श्रृंखला बनाई गई

संशोधित नागरिकता कानून (CAA) को वापस लेने की मांग करते हुए केरल में रविवार को गणतंत्र दिवस पर माकपा की अगुवाई वाले सत्तारूढ़ वाम लोकतांत्रिक मोर्चा (एलडीएफ) ने उत्तरी हिस्से से 620 किलोमीटर लंबी मानव श्रृंखला बनाकर प्रदर्शन किया. एलडीएफ ने उत्तरी केरल के कसारगोड से सुदूर दक्षिणतम हिस्से कालियाक्कविलाई तक मानव श्रृंखला बनाई. मुख्यमंत्री पिनराई विजयन और भाकपा नेता कनम राजेंद्रन ने तिरूवनंतपुरम में इस प्रदर्शन में भाग लिया. एलडीएफ ने दावा किया कि इस मानव श्रृंखला में करीब 60-70 लाख लोगों ने हिस्सा लिया. यह मानव श्रृंखला चार बजे बनाई गई जिसके बाद संविधान की प्रस्तावना पढ़ी गई.

केरल-पंजाब के बाद राजस्थान में भी CAA के खिलाफ प्रस्ताव पास

केरल और पंजाब सरकार CAA के खिलाफ विधानसभा में प्रस्ताव पारित कर चुकी है. अब इस फेहरिस्त में एक और राज्य का नाम जुड़ गया है. राजस्थान सरकार ने भी संशोधित नागरिकता कानून के खिलाफ विधानसभा में प्रस्ताव पास कर दिया है. प्रस्ताव पारित किए जाने के दौरान बीजेपी विधायकों ने विधानसभा में जमकर नारेबाजी की. सूबे के मुखिया अशोक गहलोत ने कहा कि उनकी सरकार केंद्र के इस कानून का पुरजोर विरोध करती है. इसी दिशा में विधानसभा में आज (शनिवार) राज्य सरकार ने इस कानून के खिलाफ प्रस्ताव रखा, जिसे पास कर दिया गया है.

रेलवे ई-टिकटिंग गिरोह का भंडाफोड़, आतंकी फंडिंग से तार जुड़े होने की आशंका

रेलवे प्रोटेक्शन फोर्स ने रेलवे की E-Ticket की अवैध सॉफ्टवेयर के जरिए दलाली का अब तक सबसे बड़ा खुलासा करते हुए देश भर से 27 लोगों को गिरफ्तार किया है. एक अधिकारी ने बताया कि इस मामले में पहली गिरफ्तारी 10 दिन पहले बंगलुरू से गुलाम मुस्तफा नाम के शख्स की हुई थी. गुलाम मुस्तफा E-Ticket बनाने और कन्फर्म करने वाला सॉफ्टवेयर बेचता था. गिरफ्तारी के बाद जब गुलाम मुस्तफा के लैपटॉप की जांच की गई तो उसमें पाकिस्तान, बांग्लादेश, मीडिल ईस्ट, इंडोनेशिया और नेपाल तक के लिंक का खुलासा हुआ. इसके साथ ही मुस्तफा के पास से इन देशों के कई नम्बर भी मिले हैं. RPF के साथ गुलाम मुस्तफा की जांच IB और NIA भी कर रही है.

12 साल की लड़की के गले में 40 घंटे फंसा रहा तीर

दो हफ़्ते पहले असम के डिब्रूगढ़ में अभ्यास के दौरान 12 साल की तीरंदाज़ शिवांगिनी के गले में एक तीर फंस गया. शिवांगिनी जानलेवा तरीके से घायल हो गईं. क़रीब 40 घंटे ये तीर उनके गले में तब तक फंसा रहा जब तक कि AIIMS के डॉक्टरों ने उसे निकाल नहीं दिया. 15 दिनों के इलाज से ठीक होकर शिवांगिनी एक ओलिंपियन तीरंदाज़ बनने का सपना लेकर आज दिल्ली से वापस घर लौट गईं.

An advertisement on January 11 that called for mandatory submission of National Population Registry letter as part of its Know Your Customer or KYC drive has touched a raw nerve and those opposing the contentious Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), National Register of Citizens (NRC) and National Population Register (NPR) are protesting this way. Many say they are also scared that their money could be blocked.

The Maharashtra government is reviewing the cases related to the 2018 Bhima Koregaon violence, for which 10 activists were jailed during the previous BJP-led rule in the state.
