Covid vaccination centres in Assam have been affected by the severe shortage of vaccines in the state. Only 800 vaccination centres out of over 20,000 are reported to have the anti-Covid vaccines. The state needs a steady supply of some 14 lakh doses in July to make up for missed targets in June when it planned to give 30 lakh jabs.
