Over 57,000 Covid Cases In 24 Hours For 1st Time, 10.94 Lakh Recoveries

India reported a new record surge this morning in coronavirus cases with 57,118 fresh infections in the last 24 hours, taking the total number of cases to 16,95,988.The country also witnessed 764 COVID-19 related deaths in the last 24 hours, the Union Health Ministry said. The total fatalities due to the virus now stand at 36,511. The country's Covid tally had crossed the 16 lakh-mark on Friday, just three days after crossing the 15 lakh infections. More than 10.94 lakh patients have recovered; the recovery rate stood at 64.52 per cent this morning. India has tested a total of 1,93,58,659 samples so far. The positivity rate - percentage of patients who have tested positive for coronavirus - stood at 8.57 per cent.

Over 55,000 Coronavirus Cases In Biggest 1-Day Jump In India

India reported a new record surge this morning in coronavirus cases as more than 55,000 new patients were registered in the last 24 hours, the Union Health Ministry said, adding that over 6.42 lakh samples were tested on Thursday which is the highest number of samples tested in a day since the beginning of the pandemic. The country's covid tally has crossed 16 lakh cases after the latest spike, just three days after crossing the 15 lakh-mark. This is the second consecutive day that more than 50,000 fresh infections have been reported in 24 hours. More than 10. 58 lakh patients have recovered so far. The recovery rate stood at 64.54 per cent. 779 COVID-19 patients have died since yesterday, taking the total number of COVID-19 linked deaths to 35,747.

Diesel In Delhi Cheaper By Over Rs. 8, VAT Cut To 16.5%: Arvind Kejriwal

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday announced a reduction in value-added tax or VAT to 16.75 per cent, which would make the price of diesel in the national capital cheaper by Rs 8.36 per litre. Until now, the VAT was at 30 per cent in Delhi. Currently, the price of diesel is Rs 81.94 per litre in Delhi, much higher compared to petrol, which is at Rs 80.43 per litre.

Over 50,000 Covid Cases In 24 Hours For 1st Time, 10 Lakh Recoveries

India reported over 50,000 coronavirus cases in a 24-hour period for the first time, government data shows. This is the biggest one-day spike in cases so far. At least 52,123 COVID-19 cases have been reported in the last 24 hours, taking the total cases to 15,83,792. Government data shows 775 have died in the last 24 hours; the total fatalities are now 34,968. The total number of people who have recovered is 10,20,582 and recovery rate is 64.43 per cent, while the positivity rate is 11.67 per cent. The total samples tested till this morning is 1,81,90,382, while 4,46,642 samples were tested on Wednesday.

महाराष्ट्र में कोरोना से 13656 मरीजों की मौत

महाराष्ट्र में कोरोना के मामले नहीं थम रहे हैं. राज्य में संक्रमितों की संख्या 3.75 लाख पार हो गई है. कोरोना से अब तक कुल 13656 मरीजों की मौत हुई है. प्रदेश में पिछले 24 घंटों में 9431 मामले सामने आए. 267 लोगों की मौत हुई. 2.13 लाख मरीज कोरोना से ठीक हो चुके हैं. महाराष्ट्र में रिकवरी रेट 56 फीसदी के पार हो गया है. राज्य में अब तक कोरोना के करीब 19 लाख सैंपल टेस्ट किए जा चुके हैं. मुंबई में अब तक 1.13 लाख कोरोना केस सामने आए हैं और 6093 मरीजों की मौत हुई है.

राजस्थान के सियासी संकट के बीच राज्य के मुख्यमंत्री अशोक गहलोत ने राज्यपाल कलराज मिश्र को नया प्रस्ताव भेजा है. यह प्रस्ताव विधानसभा का सत्र बुलाने के लिए भेजा गया है. विधानसभा सत्र का एजेंडा कोरोनावायरस महामारी बताया गया है. मुख्यमंत्री अशोक गहलोत 31 जुलाई से विधानसभा का सत्र बुलाना चाहते हैं. नए प्रस्ताव में फ्लोर टेस्ट (बहुमत परीक्षण) कराने का प्रस्ताव नहीं है. कुछ बिल पास कराने का जिक्र जरूर किया गया है. राज्यपाल ने इस बारे में कहा, "वह नए प्रस्ताव की जांच-पड़ताल कर रहे हैं."

Since then, around three lakh new infections have been reported.This is the fourth consecutive day when COVID-19 cases increased by more than 45,000.

देश में कोरोनावायरस के 13.85 लाख मामले

स्वास्थ्य मंत्रालय द्वारा रविवार सुबह जारी किए गए आंकड़ों के अनुसार, देश में कोरोना संक्रमितों की संख्या 13,85,522 हो गई है. पिछले 24 घंटों में कोरोना के 48,661 नए मामले सामने आए हैं. इस दौरान देश में 705 कोरोना संक्रमितों की मौत भी हुई है. 8,85,577 मरीज अब तक ठीक हो चुके हैं और कुल 32,063 लोगों की मौत हुई है. रिकवरी रेट की बात करें तो यह मामूली बढ़ोतरी के बाद 63.91 प्रतिशत पर पहुंच गया है. पॉजिटिविटी रेट 11 प्रतिशत है. बता दें कि बीते कुछ दिनों से हर रोज कोरोना के मामले 45 हजार का आंकड़ा पार कर रहे हैं.

पलटे ठेले से पलटी मध्य प्रदेश के पारस की किस्मत

CRPF के SI ने इंस्पेक्टर को मारी गोली, बाद में की खुदकुशी

दिल्ली के तुगलक रोड इलाके के लोधी एस्टेट में सरकारी कोठी नंबर 61 में गोली लगने से दो CRPF जवानों की मौत हो गई है. बताया जा रहा है कि शुक्रवार रात करीब 10:30 बजे तुगलक रोड थाने की पुलिस को जानकारी मिली कि लोधी स्टेट की 61 नंबर कोठी में कई राउंड फायरिंग हुई है. ये खबर मिलते ही पुलिस तुरंत मौके पर पहुंची. वहां जाकर देखा कि सीआरपीएफ के एक इंस्पेक्टर और सब-इंस्पेक्टर जमीन पर पड़े थे और उनको गोली लगी हुई थी. दोनों की मौत हो चुकी थी. जानकारी के मुताबिक, CRPF के सब-इंस्पेक्टर करनैल सिंह ने इंस्पेक्टर दशरथ सिंह को गोली मार दी और फिर सब-इंस्पेक्टर ने भी खुद को गोली मारकर आत्महत्या कर ली.

The cabinet passed a proposal to call the assembly session, which will be sent to the Governor this morning. It was decided in the cabinet meeting that the agenda of the assembly session will be coronavirus and the economic crisis, sources said. Mr Gehlot has called a meeting of the council of ministers at 12:30 PM to rework the proposal for the Governor.

राम मंदिर निर्माण की तैयारियां तेज, किए जाएंगे ये बदलाव

अयोध्या के राम मंदिर निर्माण की तैयारियां शुरू हो गई हैं. मंदिर के नए मॉडल में कुछ बदलाव देखे जाएंगे क्योंकि 1988 में बने डिजाइन में कुछ अहम बदलाव किए जा रहे हैं. मंदिर के आर्किटेक्ट ने बताया कि मंदिर को पिछली डिजाइन में तय ऊंचाई से ज्यादा ऊंचा बनाया जा रहा है. मंदिर 161 फीट ऊंचा होगा. पिछली डिजाइन में इसकी ऊंचाई 141 फीट तय की गई थी. जानकारी है कि मंदिर का निर्माण 5 अगस्त को भव्य भूमि पूजन के साथ शुरू होगा, जिसमें प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी और कुछ विशेष अतिथियों को बुलाया जाएगा. इसमें पीएम मंदिर की नींव रखेंगे.

कोरोना ने तोड़े सभी रिकॉर्ड, 24 घंटे में सबसे ज्यादा केस और मौतें

स्वास्थ्य मंत्रालय द्वारा गुरुवार सुबह जारी किए गए आंकड़ों के अनुसार, देश में कोरोना संक्रमितों की संख्या 12,38,635 हो गई है. पिछले 24 घंटों में कोरोना के 45,720 नए मामले सामने आए हैं. एक दिन में सामने आने वालों मामलों की यह अभी तक की सबसे बड़ी संख्या है. इस दौरान देश में 1129 कोरोना संक्रमितों की मौत भी हुई है. 7,82,607 मरीज अब तक ठीक हो चुके हैं और कुल 29,861 लोगों की मौत हुई है. रिकवरी रेट की बात करें तो यह मामूली बढ़ोतरी के बाद 63.18 प्रतिशत पर पहुंच गया है. पॉजिटिविटी रेट 13.03 प्रतिशत है.

Over 45,000 Coronavirus Cases, 1,129 Deaths: India's Biggest 1-Day Jump

India reported the highest one-day spike of 45,720 coronavirus cases and 1,129 deaths this morning, government data shows. The total number of cases has crossed 12 lakh now and stands at 12,38,635. So far 7,82,607 people have recovered, while 29,861 have died. The recovery rate is 63.18 per cent and positivity rate is 13.03 per cent. The highest number of samples were tested on Wednesday, with 3,50,823 samples collected. The total samples tested till now is over 1.5 crore, government data shows. Maharashtra has the highest number of coronavirus cases in India, followed by Tamil Nadu and Delhi. Maharashtra has been grappling with a shortage of life saving drugs like Remdesivir and Tocilizumab. The state government says they are addressing the shortage and have been in touch with suppliers to boost supplies.

बिहार में कोरोना के बढ़ते मामलों और स्वास्थ्य सेवाओं में अव्यवस्थाओं के वीडियो वायरल होने के बाद नीतीश सरकार हरकत में आई है. बुधवार को सबसे पहले पटना के सबसे बड़े कोविड अस्पताल नालंदा मेडिकल कॉलेज हॉस्पिटल में जहां एक ओर 24 घंटे एक पूरे अस्पताल के प्रबंधन के लिए अधिकारियों की टीम लगाई गई है, जिसमें कुछ ट्रेनिंग कर रहे आईपीएस अधिकारियों के अलावा राज्य सरकार के प्रशासनिक सेवा के अधिकारी रहेंगे. उसके अलावा कोविड वार्ड में वरिष्ठ डॉक्टर का राउंड और उनकी उपस्थिति अनिवार्य कर दी गई है, लेकिन उन्हें 8 से 12 घंटे की ड्यूटी के बदले 4 से 6 घंटे ही इन वॉर्ड में राउंड देना होगा.

सुप्रीम कोर्ट में राजस्थान की सियासी लड़ाई

राजस्थान हाईकोर्ट के आदेश पर रोक लगवाने के लिए विधानसभा स्पीकर सीपी जोशी ने सुप्रीम कोर्ट का दरवाजा खटखटाया है. इस मामले में आज सुनवाई होगी. इस बीच सचिन पायलट कैंप ने कैविएट दायर कर कोर्ट से कहा है कि उनका पक्ष सुने बिना कोई आदेश जारी न किया जाए. दरअसल स्पीकर ने 19 बागी विधायकों को अयोग्यता का नोटिस जारी किया था, जिसके खिलाफ पायलट खेमा हाईकोर्ट पहुंच गया था. इस मामले में तीन दिन सुनवाई के बाद राजस्थान हाईकोर्ट ने अपना फैसला 24 जुलाई तक के लिए सुरक्षित रख लिया था.

मुंबई में नहीं थम रहा कोरोना, 24 घंटे में 58 मरीजों की मौत

महाराष्ट्र में कोरोनावायरस के मामले नहीं थम रहे हैं. प्रदेश में पिछले 24 घंटों में कोरोना के 10,576 नए मामले सामने आए हैं. यह एक दिन में राज्य में सामने आने वाले कोरोना संक्रमितों की अब तक की सबसे बड़ी संख्या है. इस दौरान 280 लोगों की मौत हुई. राज्य में कोरोना से अब तक कुल 12,556 मौतें हुई हैं. मुंबई में अब तक 1,04,678 लोग कोरोना पॉजिटिव पाए गए हैं. पिछले 24 घंटों में 58 लोगों की मौत हुई है.

Gold Hits All-Time High, Futures Climb Above Rs. 50,000 For First Time

Domestic gold and silver futures soared to all-time highs on Wednesday tracking a global rally, with the yellow metal contract climbing above the Rs 50,000 mark for the first time ever. Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) gold futures - due for delivery on August 5 - rose by Rs 493 or 1 per cent to a record Rs 50,020 in morning. Silver futures due for a September 4 delivery climbed to a record Rs 60,782, surging 6 per cent from their previous close of Rs 57,342. Sky-high prices have already dampened retail demand for gold in India, the world's second largest consumer of the precious metal.
