Several parts of Tamil Nadu's Kanyakumari district received heavy rainfall today causing flood-like situation at the Thirparappu waterfalls in the district. According to the Indian Meteorological Department, heavy rainfall is likely in parts of Tamil Nadu, including in Madurai, Tiruchi and Pudukottai. Rain may recede from tomorrow, the weather department said.
