A 10-day-old male rhino calf was rescued by the forest staff in Kaziranga National Park on Tuesday. The baby rhino calf was rescued from fringes of central range, near Mihimukh highland. The weak calf has been sent to the Centre for Wildlife Rehabilitation and Conservation for stabilization. All efforts are underway to reunite the calf with his mother. The flood waters have submerged nearly 70 per cent of the national park, forcing the wild animals to move to higher grounds for safety. (Video credit: ANI)
