1 सितंबर यानी आज से वाहन चलाते वक़्त नियमों को तोड़ना को आपकी जेब पर भारी पड़ सकता है क्योंकि आज से मोटर व्हीकल एक्ट 2019 लागू हो गया है. इस एक्ट में जुर्माने में भारी इज़ाफ़ा किया गया है. नए नियम के मुताबिक नाबालिग के गाड़ी चलाने पर 25 हज़ार रु का जुर्माना और गाड़ी का रजिस्ट्रेशन रद्द होगा. बिना हेलमेट के दुपहिया वाहन चलाने पर 500 से 1500 रुपये का जुर्माना. पहले ये 100 से 300 रुपये था. दुपहिया वाहन पर तीन सवारी बैठाने पर जो जुर्माना पहले 100 रुपये था अब वो 500 रुपये हो गया है. प्रदूषण सर्टिफ़िकेट न होने पर पहले 100 रुपये भरने पड़ते थे अब 500 रुपये देने होंगे. बिना ड्राइविंग लाइसेंस के गाड़ी चलाते पाए जाने पर अब 500 की जगह 5000 रु देने होंगे.

महाराष्ट्र के धुले की केमिकल फैक्ट्री में धमाका

महाराष्ट्र के धुले स्थित एक केमिकल फैक्ट्री में हुए धमाके में कई लोगों की मौत की खबर है. घटना में 15 से ज्यादा लोग गंभीर रूप से घायल भी बताए जा रहे हैं, जिन्हें बाद में पास के अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया है. घटनास्थल के पास मौजूद ग्रामीणों के अनुसार इस धमाके में आठ लोगों की मौत की आशंका जताई जा रही है. हालांकि, पुलिस अभी आधिकारिक रूप से मौत के आंकड़ों की पुष्टि नही कर रही है. घटना की जानकारी मिलने के बाद मौके पर पहुंची पुलिस ने मामले की जांच शुरू कर दी है. वहीं, स्थानीय ग्रामीणों ने बताया कि धमाका इतना बड़ा था कि इसकी आवाज कई किलोमीटर दूर तक सूनी गई. साथ ही कई किलोमीटर दूर से ही धमाके के बाद उठ रहे काले धूएं को देखा जा सकता है. पुलिस फिलहाल धमाका क्यों हुआ इसकी जांच कर रही है. दमकल की कई गाड़ियां आग पर काबू पाने की कोशिश कर रही है.

असम में NRC लिस्ट हुई जारी, 3.11 करोड़ लोगों के नाम शामिल

असम में कड़ी सुरक्षा के बीच एनआरसी लिस्ट जारी कर दी गई है. एनआरसी के समन्वयक प्रतीक हजेला ने बताया है कि 3,11,21,004 लोगों को लिस्ट में शामिल किया गया है. जबकि 19,06,657 लोगों को लिस्ट में जगह नहीं दी गई है. इसमें वे लोग भी शामिल हैं जिन्होंने कोई दावा नहीं किया है. उन्होंने यह भी कहा है कि जो लोग इससे सहमत नही हैं वे ट्रिब्युनल में अपील कर सकते हैं. सुरक्षा के मद्देनज़र राज्य के कई इलाक़ों में धारा 144 भी लगाई गई है. जिन लोगों के नाम अंतिम सूची में नहीं होंगे उनकी सुरक्षा की भी व्यवस्था की गई है.

असम में नागरिकों की अंतिम सूची आज सुबह 10 बजे ऑनलाइन प्रकाशित कर दी जाएगी. इस लिस्ट के सामने आने के बाद ये साफ हो जाएगा कि पिछले साल लिस्ट के ड्राफ़्ट से बाहर हुए 40 लाख लोगों में से कितने अंतिम लिस्ट में जगह बना पाते हैं. लिस्ट में जिनका नाम होगा वही देश के नागरिक माने जाएंगे और जिनका नाम नहीं होगा वो विदेशी माने जाएंगे. लिस्ट के प्रकाशन से पहले असम पुलिस ने प्रदेश में अफ़वाह फैलाने वालों को रोकने के लिए कमर कस ली है. सुरक्षा के मद्देनज़र राज्य के कई इलाक़ों में धारा 144 भी लगाई गई है. जिन लोगों के नाम अंतिम सूची में नहीं होंगे उनकी सुरक्षा की भी व्यवस्था की गई है. एनआरसी की फाइनल लिस्ट के प्रकाशन से पहले असम के मुख्यमंत्री सर्बानंद सोनोवाल ने लोगों से कहा कि वे घबराएं नहीं राज्य सरकार अपनी नागरिकता साबित करने में उन लोगों को मदद करने के लिए हरसंभव कदम उठाएगी जो वास्तव में भारतीय हैं.

GDP में गिरावट क्या महामंदी की आहट?

देश की आर्थिक वृद्धि दर चालू वित्त वर्ष की पहली तिमाही में धीमी पड़कर 5 प्रतिशत रही. एक साल पहले इसी तिमाही में वृद्धि दर आठ प्रतिशत थी. सरकारी आंकड़ों के मुताबिक जीडीपी दर पहली तिमाही में 5.8 फीसदी से घटकर 5 फीसदी पर पहुंच गई. जो 6 साल में इसका सबसे निचला स्‍तर है. आपको बता दें कि अधिकांश संकेतक कमजोर घरेलू मांग और सुस्त निवेश माहौल की ओर इशारा कर रहे थे. ऐसे में पहले से ही भारत के सकल घरेलू उत्पाद (जीडीपी) की वृद्धि दर चालू वित्त वर्ष की अप्रैल-जून तिमाही में और घटने की आशंका जताई जा रही थी. इंडिया रेटिंग्स एंड रिसर्च (इंड-रा) ने 28 अगस्त को कहा था कि चालू वित्त वर्ष में मंद वृद्धि वाला लगातार तीसरा साल होगा. इसने इसके लिए मुख्य रूप से उपभोग की मांग में कमी, मॉनसून में देरी, विनिर्माण में गिरावट और निर्यात को प्रभावित करने वाले वैश्विक व्यापार में मंदी को जिम्मेदार ठहराया है. इसके अलावा अन्य फर्मों ने भी समान रूप से अर्थव्यवस्था के नकारात्मक दृष्टिकोण को प्रस्तुत किया. मूडीज इन्वेस्टर्स सर्विस ने वित्त वर्ष 2020 में वृद्धि दर 6.4 फीसदी रहने की बात कही है.

The Reserve Bank of India's Central Board on Friday decided on a payout of Rs. 1.76 lakh crore to the government, after an expert committee chaired by former Governor Bimal Jalan made its recommendations to the central bank. The record transfer, including a surplus of Rs. 1.23 lakh crore for 2018-19, will boost the government's finances at a time it strives to tackle a nearly five-year low economic growth with lakhs of estimated job cuts across sectors, and defend its ambitious target of containing fiscal deficit at 3.3 per cent of the GDP. Economists say the payout will likely help the government meet its tax revenue shortfall and fund a higher expenditure.

The rupee opened lower against the US dollar at 72.03 on Friday, and declined by as much as 51 paise to hit 72.17 in morning deals. सीवर में दम तोड़ते सफाईकर्मी

सीवर में बिना सेफ्टी किट के उतरते मजदूरों की मौत के इतने मामले सामने आ चुके हैं उसके बावजूद हमारी सरकार या प्रशासन गंभीर होते हुए नजर नहीं आते. गाजियबाद के नंदग्राम में सीवर की सफाई के दौरान 5 सफाईकर्मियों की मौत हो गई. मौत दम घुटने से हुई है. सभी सफाईकर्मी बिहार के समस्तीपुर के रहने वाले थे. प्रशासन ने इस मामले में 4 अधिकारियों को निलंबित कर दिया है. सुरक्षा मानकों का पालन न करने की वजह से इतना बड़ा हादसा हो गया, कई बार ऐसा हुआ है कि एक मजदूर पहले जहरीली गैस की चपेट में आता है, फिर उसे बचाने में दूसरों की भी जान चली जाती है.
