Coronavirus cases in India rose by 45,209 in the last 24 hours taking the total number of infections in the country to 90.95 lakh, government data showed today. There has been a slight dip in infections since Saturday when it recorded 46,232 cases. 501 deaths were reported in the last day taking the total fatalities due to the deadly disease to over 1.33 lakh. There are over 4.4 lakh active cases in the country and over 85 lakh patients have recovered so far from the highly contagious disease. Over 43,000 patients have recovered in the last 24 hours.A total of 10,75,326 test have been conducted in the last 24 hours. The total tests conducted so far stands at 13.17 crore. The positivity rate stands at 4.2 per cent while the total recovery rate is 93.68 per cent.

Delhi Records 111 Coronavirus Deaths, 5,879 New Cases
Delhi recorded 5,879 fresh COVID-19 cases on Saturday and a positivity rate of 12.90 per cent, while 111 more fatalities pushed the death count to 8,270, authorities said. These fresh cases came out of the 45,562 tests conducted on Friday, including 21,845 RT-PCR tests, according to the latest bulletin issued by the Delhi health department.

Night Curfew In Jaipur, Other Rajasthan Cities Amid Spike In Covid Cases
No one except those providing essential and emergency services will be allowed to come out from 8 pm to 6 am in some cities in Rajasthan amid a spike in COVID-19 cases, news agency ANI reported. The Rajasthan government has imposed night curfew in Jaipur, Jodhpur, Kota, Bikaner, Udaipur, Ajmer, Alwar and Bhilwara.

दिल्ली में कोरोनावायरस के 5879 नए मामले
दिल्ली में शनिवार को कोरोनावायरस के 5,879 नए मामले सामने आए और संक्रमण दर 12.90 प्रतिशत रही. वहीं 111 और मरीजों की मौत हो जाने से मृतकों की कुल 8,270 हो गई. अधिकारियों ने यह जानकारी दी. दिल्ली के स्वास्थ्य विभाग द्वारा शनिवार रात जारी किए गए बुलेटिन के अनुसार, नए मामले शुक्रवार को किए गए 45,562 परीक्षणों में सामने आए. इन परीक्षणों में 21,845 आरटी-पीसीआर परीक्षण शामिल हैं.

1 Dead, 23 Injured As Police Fire At Protesters In Tripura
At least one person was killed and 23 were injured, five seriously, in North Tripura as police opened fire after a protest allegedly turned violent on Saturday. Reinforcements have been sent to affected parts of the state. According to the police, action was taken after agitators reportedly started pelting stones and blocked National Highway 8 in Panisagar town - 4 hours north of state capital Agartala.
