"Only One National Flag In India": Governor On Naga Group's 'Flag' Demand

RN Ravi, the Nagaland Governor and the centre's interlocutor for the Naga talks, on Monday, categorically said the central government is "absolutely clear" that there shall be only one national flag and one constitution in the country. The strongly-worded statement comes at a time when the armed Naga group NSCN (IM) is sticking to its demand of a separate Naga flag and constitution as part of a peace deal.

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh To Lead Talks With Farmers, Say Sources

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will hold talks today with the farmers protesting in and around Delhi since last week, sources have said, adding that he will meet Home Minister Amit Shah and Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar at BJP chief JP Nadda's house this morning ahead of the discussions. This is the second meeting between the top BJP leaders in less than 48 hours amid massive protests against contentious farm laws. The Home Minister cancelled his visit to the Border Raising Day event this morning. "An important meeting has come up," government sources said. The government will try to assure the farmers today about the new agricultural laws, according to sources, and dispel rumours over the minimum support price for their produce. The laws will not be repealed, the protesters are likely to be told.

UP Journalist Set On Fire With Sanitiser, Dies, 3 Arrested: Cops

Three men, including the son of a village pradhan, have been arrested for allegedly killing a 37-year-old journalist and his friend in Balrampur district, just 160 kilometres from state capital Lucknow last week. On November 27, Rakesh Singh Nirbhik, who used to write for a Lucknow-based newspaper Rashtriya Swaroop, along with friend Pintu Sahu, 34, were found with severe burn injuries inside the journalist's Kalwari village residence. While Mr Sahu had already died, Mr Nirbhik was rushed to a Lucknow hospital where he died a few hours later.

"Open To Negotiation But Only Without Conditions": Farmers' Group

At the Singhu border in outer Delhi, the farmers' blockade continues for the sixth day. Farmers from the All India Kisan Sabha, Punjab or 'Kul Hind Kisan Sabha' claimed that their leader Balveer Singh Nihalgarh will attend the meeting at 3pm, for which the invite has been sent by the Union Agricultural Minister. 32 leaders from different Punjab farmers' unions have been invited for the negotiation. The group claimed that they are open to negotiation but said that no conditions will be tolerated. The government had earlier said that the talks will happen only if farmers move to the designated ground in Delhi's Burari.

चेन्नई में एक वालंटियर (Volunteer) को कोरोना की ऑक्सफोर्ड वैक्सीन कोविशील्ड (OxFord Vaccine Covishield) लेने के कारण गंभीर समस्या होने के दावे के बीच वैज्ञानिक और चिकित्सकों ने अपनी बात रखी है. कैलीफोर्निया यूनिवर्सिटी के डॉ. अमितेश आनंद का कहना है कि ऑक्सफोर्ड, मॉडर्ना (Moderna) जैसी कंपनियों ने वैक्सीन के ट्रायल (Vaccine Trial) में सुरक्षा मानकों का पूरा ध्यान रखा है. वैक्सीन के अलावा किसी अन्य वजह से भी वालंटियर में साइड इफेक्ट हो सकता है. चेन्नई के वालंटियर ने 5 करोड़ रुपये हर्जाना मांगा है. जबकि सीरम इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ इंडिया (Serum Institute Of India) ने उसके आरोप को गलत बताते हुए 100 करोड़ रुपये का दावा ठोका है.

कृषि कानूनों के खिलाफ आंदोलित किसान संगठनों ने शर्तों के साथ बातचीत की केंद्र सरकार की पेशकश ठुकरा दी है. केंद्रीय गृह मंत्री अमित शाह की ओर से वार्ता का न्योता दिया गया था, जिसमें 3 दिसंबर से पहले बातचीत के लिए किसानों को दिल्ली-हरियाणा के बॉर्डर से हटकर बुराड़ी के निरंकारी ग्राउंड जाने को कहा गया था. इसको लेकर किसान संगठनों ने रविवार सुबह बैठक की. बैठक के बाद किसान नेताओं ने कहा कि सरकार को बिना किसी शर्त के खुले दिल से बातचीत का आमंत्रण देना चाहिए. प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने भी रविवार को मन की बात कार्यक्रम में कृषि कानूनों का समर्थन किया था. उन्होंने कहा था कि इन कानूनों ने किसानों के लिए संभावनाओं और अवसरों के लिए नए द्वार खोल दिए हैं.

Maharashtra: Passengers From Delhi, Rajashthan, Goa, Gujarat Being Screened

Hundreds of passengers arriving from Delhi, Rajasthan, Gujarat and Goa were seen waiting for their turn to undergo a test for coronavirus at railway stations and airports across Maharashtra. Mumbai's civic body, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), deployed its staff across stations in Mumbai to screen passengers to check for their Covid negative certificates. The civic body also asked its ward officers to Conduct Rapid Antigen Tests on symptomatic passengers at the railway stations and to coordinate with private laboratories for collection of samples for antigen testing. India Records 44,376 New Covid Cases In A Day, Total Cases At 92.2 Lakh

India recorded 44,376 new coronavirus infections and 481 deaths because of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, government data shows. The daily case count was 16.8 per cent higher than Tuesday's as almost 11.5 lakh tests were conducted in this period. There are now 92.22 lakh total Covid cases in India, of which about 86.4 lakh people have recovered so far, and 1,34,699 people have died because of the viral disease. India's recovery rate is 93.7 per cent.

India Covid Tally Nears 92 Lakh, 37,975 Fresh Cases Logged In A Day

With 37,975 fresh COVID-19 infections, India recorded 13 per cent fewer coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, government data shows. The country also reported 480 Covid-related deaths in this period, marginally lower than yesterday's 511. India's overall coronavirus case count now stands at 91.77 lakh, with 1,34,218 Covid-related fatalities, so far. Active cases rose to almost 4.4 lakh even as more than 40,000 people successfully fought off the virus taking overall recoveries to 86,04,955. The country's overall recovery rate is 93.75 per cent, with a daily positivity rate of about 3.5 per cent against 10.9 lakh tests in the last 24 hours.

राजस्थान में स्वास्थ्य मंत्री सहित संक्रमण के 3232 मामले, 2.5 लाख के करीब पहुंची कुल संख्या

राजस्थान में कोरोना वायरस संक्रमण के सोमवार को 3,232 नये मामले सामने आये हैं। इससे अब तक राज्य में संक्रमितों की कुल संख्या 2,47,168 हो गई है. वहीं राज्य में संक्रमण से 18 और लोगों की मौत हो गई जिससे राज्य में संक्रमण से कुल मरने वालों का आंकड़ा 2,181 तक पहुंच गया. राजस्थान के चिकित्सा व स्वास्थ्य मंत्री डॉ रघु शर्मा के सोमवार को कोरोना वायरस से संक्रमित होने की पुष्टि हुई है. राज्य में मामले बढ़ने के बाद आठ जिलों में नाइट कर्फ्यू लगाया गया है.

देश में कोरोना वायरस के मामले 91 लाख के पार हो चुके हैं. स्वास्थ्य मंत्रालय के अनुसार देश में पिछले 24 घंटों में 44,059 नए मामले सामने आए हैं. जिसके बाद कुल संक्रमितों की संख्या 91,39,865 हो चुकी है. वहीं इस दौरान 511 लोगों की मौत हुई है और कुल मृतकों की संख्या 1,33,738 हो गई है. इसके अलावा पिछले 24 घंटों में 41,024 मरीज इस खतरनाक वायरस को मात देने में कामयाब हुए हैं और ठीक होने वाले मरीजों की संख्या 85 लाख के आंकड़े को पार करते हुए 85,62,641 हो चुकी है.

India's coronavirus tally crossed the 91 lakh mark in the last 24 hours with 44,059 fresh COVID-19 infections, government data shows. The daily case count was 2.5 per cent lower than Saturday's 45,209. Up to 511 people died of Covid in this period taking the overall disease-related death count to 1,33,738. There are 4.4 lakh total active cases as 41,024 people fought of the virus in the last 24 hours. More than 85.6 lakh people have recovered since the January outbreak in India. India's 24-hour positivity rate rose to 5.1 per cent against 8.5 lakh samples tested in a day. The cumulative positivity rate is 6.89 per cent.

In Fight Against Covid, Central Teams Rushed To Punjab, Himachal, UP

High-level central teams have been sent to four more states -- Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh and Chhattisgarh -- to help the state governments tackle the Covid surge. Last week, the Union Government has sent teams to Haryana, Rajasthan, Gujarat and Manipur. All these states have been either reporting a rise in the number of active cases.

देश कोरोना के हालातों को लेकर प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी (PM Modi) मंगलवार (24 नवंबर) को सभी राज्यों के मुख्यमंत्रियों के साथ बैठक करेंगे. ऐसा बताया जा रहा है कि डिजिटल माध्यम से होने वाली ये बैठक दो चरणों में होगी. पहले चरण में सुबह 10 बजे उन आठ राज्यों के मुख्यमंत्री शामिल होंगे जहां कोरोना का कहर सबसे ज्यादा है. इसके बाद दोपहर 12 बजे से बाकी बचे राज्यों के मुख्यमंत्री पीएम के साथ होने वाली इस अहम बैठक में शामिल होंगे.

दिल्ली में लगातार तीसरे दिन कोरोना से 100 से ज्यादा मौत

दिल्ली में कोरोना का कहर थम नहीं रहा है. लगातार तीसरे दिन यहां कोरोना वायरस (Coronavirus) संक्रमण से 100 से ज्यादा लोगों की मौत हो गई. पिछले 24 घंटे में यहां 121 मरीजों की मौत कोरोना की वजह से हो गई. वहीं पिछले 24 घंटों में यहां 6746 नए मामले सामने आए जिसके बाद संक्रमितों की संख्या 5,29,863 हो गई. वहीं मृतकों की संख्या बढ़कर 8391 हो गई. इस दौरान 6154 लोग ठीक भी हुए जिन्हें मिलाकर अब तक कुल 4,81,260 लोग ठीक हो चुके हैं. राजधानी में रिकवरी रेट 90.82% है जबकि एक्टिव मरीज़ों का प्रतिशत 7.58 है. यहां कोरोना से मृत्युदर 1.58 फीसदी है जबकि पॉजिटिविटी रेट 12.29 फीसदी.

The West Delhi district authorities ordered two evening markets in Nangloi to be shut for violating various COVID-19 safety guidelines on social distancing and wearing of masks, officials said. The District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) in West Delhi issued an order on Sunday, directing closure of Punjabi Basti Market and Janta Market till November 30, a senior district official said.

Health Minister Satyendar Jain Sunday said over 400 ICU beds have been added for Coronavirus patients in Delhi. He said the number will be increased further in the coming days as these 400 beds are part of a total of 1,650 ICU beds being set up in the city --250 in private hospitals, 650 in Delhi government facilities and 750 in those run by the Centre.

असम के पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री तरुण गोगोई के कई अंगों के काम नहीं करने की वजह से उनकी सेहत बिगड़ गई है और सांस लेने में दिक्कत होने के साथ वह बेहोश हो गए हैं. राज्य के स्वास्थ्य मंत्री हिमंत बिस्व सरमा ने शनिवार को यह जानकारी दी. मंत्री ने बताया कि कांग्रेस के वरिष्ठ नेता गोगोई (86) को बेचैनी की शिकायत के बाद गुवाहाटी मेडिकल कॉलेज एवं अस्पताल (जीएमसीएच) में दो नवम्बर को भर्ती कराया गया था.

Delhi's AIIMS Starts Recruiting Over 200 Junior Doctors Amid Covid Crisis

With 45,209 new COVID-19 cases and 501 deaths in the last 24 hours, the total number of positive coronavirus cases in India reached 90.95 lakh on Sunday morning, government data showed. The overall cases include 4,40,962 active cases and 85,21,617 recoveries. With 501 new deaths, the coronavirus death count in the country mounted to 1,33,227. Delhi's AIIMS has started recruitment process of 207 junior doctors. 250 ventilators have reached DRDO hospital and are being installed. Till November 20 as many as 3.7 lakh people covered in house to house survey. Now Delhi is conducting more RTPCR tests than RAT at a stretch to detect cases. These steps being taken to ramp up infrastructure in the capital.
