City Centre: देश में कोरोना संक्रमित लोगों की संख्या 1397 पहुंची

All 2,100 people have been evacuated from a building in south Delhi's Nizamuddin after nearly a 100 people tested positive for COVID-19. Hundreds of people had been staying at "Markaz Nizamuddin", the Delhi headquarters of the Tablighi Jamaat group. The evacuations started on Monday amid a nationwide search for suspected COVID-19 cases after a large religious gathering at the Nizamuddin building emerged as a coronavirus hotspot with links to seven COVID-19 deaths. The Markaz officials had said there were some 1,000 people on its premises. Lanes near the religious centre have been taped off by officials in protective suits. A police case has been filed against the mosque administration.

कोरोना वायरस लॉकडाउन के बीच RBI ने दी राहत

कोरोना वायरस और उसके आर्थिक प्रभावों से निपटने के लिए सरकार के बाद अब भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक (RBI) ने बड़ा कदम उठाया है. आरबीआई ने नीतिगत ब्याज दर यानी रेपो रेट में 0.75 प्रतिशत की कटौती की है. आरबीआई गवर्नर शक्तिकांत दास ने शुक्रवार को कहा कि रेपो दर को मौजूदा समय में 5.15 प्रतिशत से घटाकर 4.4 प्रतिशत किया गया है. मौद्रिक नीति समिति (MPC) के 6 सदस्यों में से चार ने इस कदम के पक्ष में वोट किया है. इससे होम लोन समेत अन्य कर्जों की ईएमआई में कमी आने की उम्मीद है.

Concerned about their migrant labourers residing in other states, the Chief Ministers of Bengal and Bihar have written to chief ministers of other states, requesting them to extend help. Bihar has announced a Rs 100-crore relief package for migrants. The ban on international flights, announced last week, has been extended to April 14.
